Simple Server Settings for PC
Step 1: Download the simple server app for pc from http://www.datafilehost.com/d/59b8af4f or http://www88.zippyshare.com/v/fXhFc3Eq/file.html
Step 2: Right-click and extract the downloaded file to your desktop
Step 3: Open the extracted zip file,click on SimpleServer.exe and run it
Step 4: Insert your modem to your pc which contains your mtn sim or switch on your hotspot from your android mobile phone
Note: To subscribe, Ensure your sim has nothing less than #70.00 and send BBLITED to 21600 to activate. You will receive a confirmation message with a 10 mb. After the 10 mb has been exhausted, you can start using the simpleserver to the fullest. Remember that BBLITED only lasts for 24 hours then you can re-subscribe again.
Step 5: Go to settings on the modem dashboard and create/modify the APN:
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username: web
Proxy: web
Step 6: Open your web browser(Firefox is more preferable),go to settings>advance settings>network>connections>manual proxy and set it as follows:
Proxy Address: 127.0.0.1
Proxy Port: 8080
click on 'use this proxy server for all protocols'
click on 'ok' and enjoy your browsing!
Simple Server Settings for Android
Step 1: Download simpleserver from googleplaystore
Step 2: Open the installed app and go to settings:
Proxy host: 10.199.212.2
Proxy port: 8080
Injection Method: Get
Injection query/url: http://web.blackberry.com
Injection host: web.blackberry.com
Injection line: Tap enter 4 times
Log level: debug
close settings and tap on connect
Step 4: Download Autoproxu lite from google playstore and configure it with the settings as follow:
Proxy Host: 127.0.0.1
Proxy Port: 8080
make sure to choose http.
click on connect and start browsing.
